Therapeutic and sports taping is used to energize weak muscles, decrease swelling, diminish pain, promote circulation, cue proper posture and help prevent injury. It can complement any massage session where muscles issues are addressed.
This workshop will include a review of the major muscles of the body while learning taping techniques for the neck, entire back region, arms and legs, including all major joints of the body. Taping for edema is also covered. Common indications and contraindications will be discussed for each muscle group. Each student will be given a tape roll and participate in hands-on taping application.
