Dr. Toni LaSala

Dr. Toni LaSala earned her doctoral degree from the Department of Health and Medical Sciences at Seton Hall University. Toni has been teaching as an adjunct at William Paterson University since 1989 and has joined the Exercise Science Faculty in Fall of 2015 as an Assistant Professor. Toni brings to William Paterson University 33 years of practical experience in the fitness industry as a health fitness manager, personal trainer and certified group exercise instructor. She was a fitness consultant for a major pharmaceutical company for 23 years where she ran the group exercise, massage, nutrition, and health promotion programs for over 4,000 employees.
Toni is passionate about engaging her students in undergraduate research, real world activities where students learn to promote, develop and implement exercise sessions to students, faculty, staff as well as the community.
Certifications: ACSM-EP-C, ACSM-EIM- Level 2, NSCA-CSCS, ACE and AFAA Group Exercise, Registered Yoga Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist
