Day 1
Happy, rejuvenated and more flexible
Thai Massage has become an increasingly in-demand technique for spas, resorts and fitness facilities. It can be fun, safe and extremely therapeutic as well as relaxing. Thai Massage (Thai Yoga massage or Thai body work) enhances flexibility, reduces muscle pain, relieves joint restrictions, softens fascia, and promotes rejuvenation and deep relaxation. This basic routine includes supine and seated positions covering the body; toe to head. We'll also look fundamental philosophies, history contraindications and benefits of this ancient healing art from Thailand. Leave happy and rejuvenated, more flexible and body aware with a comprehensive supine routine you can put into practice right away to benefit clients.
Day 2
Direct Benefits of Selfcare
Continue your journey into the healing art of Thailand with the addition of directly working the body prone and side lying. Enhance the therapeutic aspect with this basic back and leg routine that can easily be added to your current massage practice. Get more comfortable with alignment, body manipulations and good biomechanics while massaging regions of the body most commonly needed due to chronic back concerns, stress and holding patterns. Your clients will LOVE IT! You will also experience the direct benefits of self-care as you utilize the healing dance of Thai massage.
* Please bring comfortable and loose clothing that you can move in easily and prepare to work barefoot.
