The Deep Massage Therapy Facial is not the typical facial received at a salon by a cosmetologist or an esthetician, rather it is one uniquely designed for us, the massage therapist. This is not deep tissue work done on the face. We don’t do deep tissue on the face. It’s the extraordinary deep tissue work done on shoulders and back prior to the facial work. It prepares the body for deeper relaxation and more successful facial massage results.
It is our belief that combining deep tissue massage with organic skin care products is a great idea! It seems like every time I have gotten a facial or a hot stone treatment, afterwards, I would walk out so relaxed that I could hardly talk but that would just make me more aware of how tight and stiff my body was. If I could just get someone to address the aches and pains along with taking my brain away… well, you get the idea. What’s even more exciting is that as you dramatically increase circulation to shoulders, neck and face, using our specially designed deep tissue techniques, you make your client look significantly younger. Add some wonderful foot and hand massage and an aroma rich hot towel facial hydrotherapy and voila; “TOTAL NIRVANA!”
We will teach you all the components of a great facial massage including the creation of and a` la carte menu of services for your office practice – from the equipment and supplies needed, to the actual application of products with the strokes and techniques utilized. As massage therapists, we do not do extractions, we do not analyze or diagnose skin problems and we do not treat or prescribe products. We stay completely within the scope of our practice and frankly, it’s the best thing that can happen to someone’s face because the results speak for themselves. Deep tissue massage combined with organic skin care is the fountain of youth and we will show you how to master it.
