Day 1: MLD Head, Neck & Face
8 credits
Learn how to tap into the body’s natural healing reservoir through the gentle strokes of MLD for (long) COVID symptoms, addressing concussions, relieving sinus pressure and pain, addressing vision issues as well as providing a great natural facelift.
Developed by Dr. Vodder and used for treating sinusitis and other inflammatory disorders. MLD was discovered to hold beauty benefits covering everything from acne to rosacea.
Day 2: MLD Side-lying & Pregnancy
8 credits
Participants will learn the full body treatment with the client seated, or side-lying and positioning for pregnancy and clients who cannot be supine or on the massage table.
This class will explore the lymph during pregnancy. Learn how and why MLD offers edema management for pregnancy while addressing mother's stress, stretch marks and constipation.
Prerequisite MLD Head, Neck & Face
Day 3: MLD Surgeries & Documentation
8 credits
Athletes and surgeons already know the significant benefits of MLD for peak performance and especially for reducing recovery time from Injuries and surgeries.
You will learn how to document, standardized measuring skills, as well as measuring for compression garments.
We will review lymph A & P and do a comprehensive test review.
Prerequisite MLD Side-Lying and Pregnancy
Day 4: MLD Integration
8 credits
Class will include how to integrate MLD with other modalities such as deep tissue massage, craniosacral work, myofascial work, even integrating silicon massage cups for scar release with MLD.
Also, we will do a comprehensive review of the hands-on approaches learned this week.
Participants will take their exams and integrate treatments.
