Luci Zirpoli, B.S., LMT
Luci Zirpoli graduated from Ramapo College with a B.S. in Mathematics. This allowed a successful career as an IT Professional. However, the lack of more direct human contact had her looking for another path. As a client of the student clinic at The Institute for Therapeutic Massage (ITM), she learned about their Oncology Certification program. Luci decided to change her life direction and enrolled. After completing their one-year, intensive curriculum (and receiving her New Jersey licensure), she continued her education and acquired both Personal Training certification and courses that enabled her to being licensed in New York.
In addition to work at a local Spa and her own personal clients, Luci has been employed as the Lead Therapist at Compassionate Care Hospice for nearly a decade. This has become her focus and area of expertise. She is also a long time Instructor at ITM, teaching Anatomy and Physiology, Myology (muscles), Hospital-Based bodywork (Oncology and Medically Frail), Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), Shiatsu technique, Pregnancy Massage, and Foot Reflexology. In 2018, Luci brought Therapeutic and Sports Taping as well as a Muscle Review and Palpation class to New Jersey Massage, and will soon be offering a Hospital-Based and Medically Frail class as well. She recently joined a massage team for the NY Jets, providing chair massage at their home games. Luci has found the perfect balance between meaningful bodywork and her passion to teach.
