Sarah Borda
With more than two decades of hands-on experience, Sarah Borda brings an exceptional level of mastery, passion, and commitment to the field of therapeutic bodywork. A graduate of Somerset Massage School in 2003, she quickly established her own massage practice and earned Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork the same year.
In 2004, she began an intensive and ongoing journey into the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release approach, an area of specialization that has defined her career. Over the years, she has completed and repeatedly retaken nearly every core and advanced John F. Barnes MFR seminar, including MFR I & II, Fascial Pelvis, Cervical-Thoracic, Unwinding and Advanced Unwinding, Women’s Health, Fascial Cranium, Quantum Leap, MFR III, Pediatric, Mobilization, Subtle Energy, Rebounding, Therapy for the Therapist, Healing Seminar, and additional skill enhancement trainings. Their repeated study of these courses reflects a deep dedication to embodiment, integration, and true mastery.
In 2010, Sarah joined the national John Barnes teaching staff as a part-time seminar assistant, supporting classes across the country. This role continues today, allowing them to mentor practitioners, guide hands-on work, and help therapists refine their MFR technique with precision and confidence.
With decades of clinical practice, extensive post-graduate education, and a long-standing commitment to teaching, Sarah Borda brings invaluable experience, grounded technical skill, and a deeply compassionate presence to every class they offer.
