for all dates visit the Listing of Courses by Subject
Step into the subtle, intelligent world of fascia—where gentle touch meets deep structural change.
This foundational course is designed to open a new dimension in your hands-on practice by teaching you how to feel, see, and influence the fascial system with clarity and confidence. Through interactive discussion, visual assessment, and extensive hands-on laboratory time, you will learn the art and physics of the gentle myofascial approach. This approach relies on patience, precision, and sensory listening rather than force.
Unlike traditional deep tissue or muscular-focused work, myofascial therapy invites the practitioner to tune into the whole-body fascial net, observing how gravity, tension, and subtle restrictions shape structure and movement. This training will give you a direct experience of that unique “fascial touch,” helping you distinguish it from other modalities and integrate it safely into your sessions.
Throughout the day, you will explore the entire fascial network (cranial, thoracic, lumbar, pelvic, limbs, hands, and feet) learning how each region relates to the whole. Partner-based labs will guide you through sustained gentle contact, proprioceptive exercises, and techniques that heighten your awareness of tissue quality, direction of pull, and the body’s natural unwinding processes.
We close with group discussion and Q&A, weaving together the insights gained from our somatic laboratory.
Join us to build the foundation for a more sensitive, effective, and transformative touch.
