ATTENDANCE POLICY

Due to the intensive nature of the material presented in this course, regular attendance is a stringent requirement. A strict record of student attendance will be maintained by instructors and made available upon request for student review.

Four late arrivals of 15 minutes or more will constitute one absence. Students are allowed 10 block absences in academic/technique classes over the duration of the course without penalty.

Should absenteeism exceed 10 blocks, private tutorials will be required. Similarly, if a student misses two or more consecutive sessions, private tutorials will be required at a cost of $50 per hour in order to bring the student up to the level of the class. All clinic or hands-on class practice work missed due to absences must be made up. Fifty minutes of each sixty-minute hour is dedicated to instruction. Lateness or absenteeism may call for a meeting with the director. For excused absences, physicians notes will be required.
