ADVANCED STANDING

An applicant may be eligible for advanced standing if they have studied at an accredited school, providing the course meets the standards of NJMTC. A request for advanced standing placement must be made no less than 30 days prior to the start of the course. An official transcript must be provided and applicant must pass a qualifying written examination offered at NJMTC. A practical examination may also be required under the supervision of the lead instructors. Students seeking advanced standing must pay a $150 non-refundable processing fee which will be applied toward tuition upon registration. A tuition credit commensurate with experience may be granted.

The decision of the School Director will be final in this area.
