The North Jersey
Massage Training Center has been located at the Parsippany Medical Center
since 1980. Our school is owned and operated by master massage therapists.
Combining Eastern and Western massage techniques and mindsets, our center
has distinguished its holistic and innovative approach to body work. Our
Continuing Education Classes seek to assist massage therapists in personal
and professional growth. We provide vital and pertinent information to
increase knowledge, variety of techniques and the ability to meet the
client’s needs.
As massage therapists we know we can have a profound effect upon our clientele. We see it everyday, and we do it one massage, one back at a time. Bob Dylan said, “He who is not busy being born is busy dying.” I believe the prime directive on planet earth is to grow in everyway you can and to use those skills to serve, inspire, and transform our world. As healers in the massage tradition, we have dedicated our life and our work to helping and serving others. We clearly do not do it for the money, which is an understatement. We do it for the fulfillment. We do it for the healing, and we do it for love. We certainly are not the only profession that has this distinction, for there are many in the trenches; perhaps none more than those professions that work with our sick, those in pain and the aged. So in that spirit, we have expanded our course offerings to include continuing education offerings for C.E. credits to nurses, LPN’s and other health care providers. We have even included workshops for lay people like your family members. Our goal is to promote a sane healthcare profession and to touch the lives of the caregivers that give so much of themselves. Our new Director of Nursing Education is Cheryl Chapman, R.N. Cheryl has been nursing full time since 1965, a certified massage therapist since 1988 and a certified holistic nurse with the American Holistic Nursing Association since 1999. You may have taken one of her seminars with us. She is a pioneer in the nursing and massage professions, offering seminars nationally in cancer, mastectomy, breast and pregnancy massage. Now through New Jersey Massage, she will be reaching out not only to the massage profession but also to her fellow nurses and health care providers. Please join us in our vision toward one healthy world by signing up for some of the amazing workshops enclosed. I thank you personally for your support and attendance and most importantly, I thank you for making a positive difference. Best Regards, “These thought provoking classes offer a wealth of knowledge and
insight into holistic health that can only help us to better serve ourselves
and those in our care.” |
