About our Massage Team:
All of our therapists customize the massage therapy session to
meet the specific needs of their clients. All of our therapists are specialists
in medical and sports massage, neuromuscular trigger point therapy and
shiatsu. Most of our therapists have additional training in many adjunctive
approaches such as pregnancy massage, hot stone massage, Thai massage,
Reiki, Qi healing, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Raindrop therapy, and our very
special massage therapy facials.
Larry Heisler, M.A., RMT :
Larry is director of one of the premier massage schools in New Jersey,
The North Jersey Massage Training Center and director of three elite facilities
for massage therapy services, New Jersey Massage, LLC with its main office
at the Parsippany Medical Complex. Since 1976, Mr. Heisler has trained
thousands of massage therapists, has given over 46,000 massage treatments
and has conducted presentations throughout the country. This year his
school and therapy facility celebrate their 27th anniversary. With advanced
degrees in massage therapy, nutrition, counseling, education, interfaith
ministry, meditation and music, Larry has touched and inspired the lives
of so many.
Jean Perrotta, RN, NCBTMB
Jean is one of our senior staff therapists, offering exceptional
massage therapy services since the late 1980's. Specializing in geriatric,
medical and cancer massage therapies, she is also certified in swedish
and deep tissue therapies, traditional barefoot shiatsu, pregnancy, infant
and Thai massage and the ever popular massage therapy facial, hot stone
and raindrop therapies.
Chuck Loeffler, B.A., B.S., CMT:
Chuck has been involved with the Asian healing arts for over 30 years.
A massage therapy instructor specializing in medical, swedish and shiatsu
massage. He is a master at Tai Chi and Qi Gong healing as well as quantum
physics and electrical engineering. He has taught continuing education
massage, tai chi and qi gong healing workshops nationally and internationally
and his warmth and caring touches everyone he meets.
Henry Roth, D.C., NCBTMB:
Dr. Henry is one of the most popular massage therapists in New Jersey.
Nominated by the Governor to sit on the Board of Massage, Henry is an
Olympic Team Massage Therapist. A chiropractor as well as a massage therapist
since the mid 1970's, Dr. Henry lectures all over the country teaching
advanced medical massage techniques workshops.
Fran Ryan, CMT
Fran is one of our senior therapists performing exceptional massage
therapy since the 1980's. As the schools Continuing Education Coordinator,
Fran has been privileged to study with some of our countries most gifted
massage educators. Specializing is just about everything including cancer
and medical massage, pregnancy, hot stone, swedish and deep tissue therapies,
traditional barefoot shiatsu and Raindrop Therapy. She is also a certified
Natural Health Practitioner specializing in nutrition, juicing and essential
oils.
Brian J. Thomas, B.A., CMT:
Brian is a medical massage practitioner and former Director of Continuing
Education at the North Jersey Massage Training Center. He is noted for
helping people recover from muscle injuries and assisting people to live
pain free. He specializes in medical massage, Tandem Point Therapy, neuromuscular,
myo-fascial and trigger point therapies, cancer and life threatening illness,
sports massage, shiatsu and Swedish massage therapies.
Tracy Sanders, CMT:
As a certified massage therapist, Tracy a.k.a. the hammer, specializes
in deep tissue massage therapy and is quite adept in shiatsu, pregnancy,
hot stone, Thai and medical massage therapies. An on-site coordinator
for the North Jersey Massage Training Center, he is also an electronic
navigation specialist.
Michelle Carter, CMT:
Michelle is a certified massage therapist specializing in customizing
the session for her clients specific sensitivities. Because Michelle is
the registrar for the North Jersey Massage Training Center and long time
office manager for the New Jersey Massage, LLC operations, she has been
surrounded and mentored by some of the great massage and bodywork practitioners
in the country.
Toby Cedarbaum:
Toby has been a practicing massage therapist since 1984. She has worked
on clients of all walks of life and specializes in Swedish, deep tissue,
sports, pregnancy, shiatsu, reflexology and geriatric, massage therapy.
Her clientele reads like a who’s who of Northern New jersey. In
addition, Toby teaches a unique weight loss process entitled, "Eating
Awareness Training."
Jonine Lester, CMT, C.Y.T
Jonnie as she is affectionately called is both a skilled massage therapist
and certified yoga instructor. She possesses a green thumb in horticulture
as well, using her hands both in the healing and nuturing of plants as
well as people. She specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, barefoot shiatsu,
hot stone, massage therapy facials and Raindrop Therapy.
Benji Kraus, CMT,
Licensed in her home country of Thailand for Thai Massage Benji is known
not only for her amazing Thai massage but for her excellent massage therapy
and bodywork skills overall. Certified here in New Jersey, she specializes
in customizing your massage session with deep tissue, trigger point therapy,
shiatsu and soothing swedish massage.
Carol Heise Jensen, CMT
A massage therapist since 2001, Carol is a gifted practitioner possessing
both a sincere, natural warmth and genuine skill. Her swedish, deep tissue,
hot stone and pregnancy sessions are extraordinary.
Jennie Henry, CMT
An English massage therapist with impeccable skills. Jennie is part of
the medical massage team at Drew University. She specializes in many styles
including pregnancy, swedish, shiatsu and hot stone massage. Jennie's
ability and genuine warmth make her a sought after therapist at our popular
Sunday clinic.
Dustin Mischeli, CMT
Dustin is our youngest massage practitioner, a massage phenome who possesses
a natural healing talent coupled with youthful exuberance. Well trained
in the many massage and bodywork arts of the North Jersey Massage Training
Center, Dustin is a favorite by many at our Sunday clinic.
Justin Weaver, CMT
Justin is both a skilled massage therapist and dedicated martial arts
instructor. Working with physical therapists during the week and with
us on the weekends, Justin brings experience, insight and massage know-how
to our Sunday clinic.
