New Jersey Massage Staff Biographies

About our Massage Team:

Thank you sincerely for your interest in New Jersey Massage, LLC.

We have a well trained staff. Better yet, we have an elite staff of teacher level practitioners all trained, or directly influenced by a Grandmaster of Massage.

Our therapists work out of all four of our facilities, and they will customize the massage therapy session to meet the specific needs of their clients.

All of our therapists are state certified, and they all specialize in traditional Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage. In addition, many of our staff are certified in Medical and Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Trigger Point Therapy, Cancer, Pregnancy or Geriatric Massage, Mastectomy and Breast Massage, even Myofascial Release and Cranio-sacral Therapy.

In the Asian styles, we offer Traditional Barefoot Shiatsu, Thai Massage and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi. We also cover all the Hot Stone and Raindrop Therapy work, as well as Reiki and deep tissue Reflexology.

We are especially fond of our Massage Therapy Facial, which combines deep tissue massage, hot towel facial hydration and a terrific line of organic skin care products. Designed to take away your brain and your pain.

We also specialize in on site chair and table massage for your next corporate or home event.

Larry Heisler, M.A., LMT, RMT:
RMT is one of the massage pioneers in New Jersey. As director of one of the premier massage schools in New Jersey, The North Jersey Massage Training Center and as director of massage therapy services for four elite massage therapy facilities, Larry has been a massage practitioner since 1975, and has treated an estimated nearly 50,000 people! Possessing a strong education background, formerly a classroom teacher, an assistant principal and then college instructor, it was natural for Larry to begin teaching the healing path he loved. In 1980, Larry opened the third massage school in New Jersey, initially specializing in Traditional Barefoot Shiatsu. Soon after he followed up with a highly developed massage therapy facility, New Jersey Massage, LLC located since 1980 in the Parsippany Medical Complex. By 1985, his programs embraced a full spectrum of massage therapy modalities and Larry’s hundreds of students and graduates were on their way to establishing massage as a legitimate healing alternative in his northern New Jersey area. With advanced degrees and training in massage therapy, nutrition, counseling, education, interfaith ministry, meditation and music, Larry has touched and inspired the lives of so many. New Jersey Massage, LLC has been widely acknowledged for its volunteer massage team participation in many hundreds of state wide fund raising events for organizations like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Diabetes Tour De Cure to the Red Cross, Leukemia Society, Make A Wish Foundation and the 9/11 Port Authority Ground Zero Command. Larry has presented for the hospital medical staffs at six different Grand Medical Rounds, has set up wellness curriculums for three Universities, and has been on television discussing massage therapy legislation with then Governor Christie Todd Whitman. In addition, he has presented programs at over thirty college campuses, a dozen health departments and at over a hundred New Jersey corporations. This year Larry celebrates the 35th anniversary of officiating at his weekly meditation and healing circle. He has never charged for this class.
