New Jersey MANDATORY LICENSING for massage practitioners is coming. Are you ready? What does the process entail? How will you satisfy the licensing requirements? In this class, a licensed New Jersey attorney and certified massage therapist will explain the new law and the application process. In addition this course will include a detailed review of the current regulations as well as discussions regarding advertising law; sexual misconduct; negligence and other grounds for legal liability; privacy requirements for massage practitioners, malpractice insurance and other business issues for massage practitioners. Key differences between the current law and the new Licensing law will also be discussed. The information is presented in a highly interactive manner and students will be provided with copies of the current Regulations and the Application for Certification.
